On Saturday activists returned to the Beit Furik checkpoint, which divides the villages of Beit Dajan and Beit Furik from Nablus, and set fire to the military watchtower.
Activists had previously partially destroyed the checkpoint which also consists of a gate and bunker. The checkpoint is still occasionally manned by Israeli Army soldiers that close the area causing disruption to the daily lives of Palestinians.
Activists were clear in their message that they would not wait for negotiations between Apartheid Israel and the Palestinian Authority to sign away their land and rights. Activists are determined to take freedom into their own hands and tear down Apartheid.
SFP asks you all to join that struggle and abide by the Palestinian request for boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against Apartheid Israel. To find out how to boycott and join the campaign please click here.
SFP is also asking for donations to fund our campaign to “Tear down Apartheid”. Please click here to make a donation either via PayPal (tax exempt for American residents) or via our Palestinian bank account.
