14/04/14: Burin welcomes home Montaser Mahmoud Eid

On Monday evening the village of Burin welcomed home Montaser Mahmoud Eid from Apartheid Israeli prison after 14 months. Montaser was welcomed home by volunteers from the Bilal Najjar Cultural Centre, SFP and his family and friends.

Montaser’s return home, while a happy occasion, still leaves nearly a dozen young men and children from the village in Apartheid Israeli prisons. Burin suffers daily harassment from the Israeli Army and the criminal settlers that inhabit the illegal settlements that surround the village.

Many prisons in Apartheid Israeli and the machinery that serves them are equipped by the British-Danish multinational prisoner profiteering firm G4S. Activists and people of conscience around the world are asking Government’s, companies and individuals to stop working with G4S. If you are based in the UK we encourage you to get involved with the “Stop G4S” campaign, and support prisoners like Montaser who are kidnapped from their homes and tortured and interned by Apartheid Israel.
