10/05/14: SFP Asira al Qibliya tells the Occupation it’s time to leave

On Saturday early evening the youth of Asira al Qibliya, accompanied by SFP, released balloons towards the illegal settlement of Yitzhar and the Army base, telling the Occupation it was time to leave their land and that they would reclaim the land. The youth and SFP also sent the message that they would bring freedom for all of Palestine, including Palestinian prisoners, now on their 17th day on hunger strike.

Asira is surrounded by the illegal settlements of Yitzhar and Bracha. They are home to some of the most violent Jewish terrorist. Asira has been the victim of numerous attacks, including a full invasion by the settlers and Army, shooting at villagers injuring many. In the last week Asira has also been invaded and terrorised by the Army several time, with several young people kidnapped.

SFP asks all those that believe in freedom and justice to abide by the request for boycott, divestment and sanctions against Apartheid Israel. For details on how to boycott please click here. We particularly ask that activists work towards actions related to the British/Dutch firm G4S, which supplies much of the prison infrastructure used by Apartheid Israel. For more details on G4S and the Stop G4S campaign in the UK please click here.
