12/05/14: Settlers attempt to attack, Burin says NO!

On Monday morning young people from Burin village, just south of Nablus, managed to not only prevent an attack from terrorist settlers from the illegal settlement of Bracha, but confiscate and destroy the settlers motorbikes.

Three settlers came to the Al Munitir area of Burin on the bikes in an attempt to intimidate and attack the village. The youth of the village not only prevented the attack but confiscated the bikes, setting fire to them to prevent their use in further attacks against the villagers. The settler terrorists were detained by villagers and handed over to the Army by the Palestinian Authority along with the remaining bike.

Burin is surrounded by the illegal settlements of Bracha and Yitzhar, home to some of the most extreme Jewish terrorists. They regularly attack the village, burn olive trees and damage Palestinian property, supported by the Israeli Army. SFP asks that people around the world join Burin and Palestinians in their resistance against this terrorism perpetrated with impunity against them and join the call for boycott, divestment and sanctions against Apartheid Israel.
