On the first day of Eid, and when the children were trying to draw a smile on their face despite their pain and suffering, dozens of illegal settlers from the Bracha colony attacked the village of Burin, just south of Nablus. The young people of the village bravely defended against the attack despite the arrival of the Israeli Army to support the attacking settlers by firing volleys of tear gas, stun grenades and live ammunition. The attack went on for 2 hours.
As Burin was under attack the Israeli Army also fired rockets as a group of children playing during a rare respite in Gaza. The attack murdered 9 of the children and 1 adult. Their only crime to want to be children for a few moments.
SFP appeals to people all over the world to join the struggle for freedom. We also ask that those around the world that have already taken to the streets in solidarity remain in the streets until Palestine is free and the refugees have returned to their homes. Finally, we ask that our Muslim brothers and sisters to consider limiting their Eid celebrations in respect for those killed and under illegal siege and occupation.
في اول ايام عيد الفطر السعيد و عندما كان الاطفال يحاولون رسم الابتسامة على وجههم رغم الالم و المعاناة هاجم عشرات المستوطنين من مستوطنة براخا قرية بورين من الجنوب من مدينة نابلس حيث دارت اشتباكات عنيفة مع الشبان حيث تدخل الجيش و بداء باطلاق وابل من قنابل الغاز و الصوتيات و بعض الاحيان الرصاص الحي استمرت الاشتباكات لمدة ساعتين متواصله حيث استبسل شباب القرية في الدفاع عن قريتهم SFP تناشد الناس في جميع أنحاء العالم للانضمام إلى النضال من أجل الحرية. نطلب أيضا أن أولئك في جميع أنحاء العالم التي اتخذت بالفعل إلى الشوارع تضامنا تبقى في الشوارع حتى فلسطين الحرة واللاجئين من العودة إلى ديارهم. أخيرا نطلب أن الإخوة والأخوات لدينا مسلم في جميع أنحاء العالم تحد من احتفالات العيد في احترام تلك يقتلون وتحت الحصار غير القانوني والمهنة.
